Steel Builder is proud to have successfully delivered the Woolworths Heathwood Distribution Facility, in partnership with Vaughans, for end client Woolworths. Commencing in December 2020 and completed by June 2021, this fast-tracked project was achieved within just six months, encompassing the entire lifecycle of design, drafting, engineering, and erection. The ability to deliver a project of this scale under such a condensed timeframe highlights Steel Builder’s commitment to efficiency, precision, and collaboration. With a total of 1,860 tonnes of structural steel, the facility was designed and constructed to support Woolworths’ advanced distribution operations. A standout feature of the project was the single-lift installation of a bridge structure, seamlessly connecting the warehouse to the office space. This engineering achievement not only demonstrated Steel Builder’s technical capability but also ensured the functionality and integration required by the client’s operations. Delivered on time and under program, the Heathwood facility is a testament to the strength of partnership between Steel Builder, Vaughans, and Woolworths. By meeting critical deadlines, the project directly supported Woolworths in achieving their program goals and operational readiness.
