Steel Builder is proud to have partnered with CIP to deliver the Stockland Willawong Distribution Centre for end client Stockland, completed in September 2024. Commencing in April 2024 and completed within just five months, this 1,300-tonne structural steel project represents a major milestone for Stockland’s logistics portfolio. At over 100,000 square metres, the Willawong Distribution Centre is set to become Stockland’s largest logistics facility in Queensland, designed to meet the increasing demand for high-quality, large-scale industrial space. The facility provides prime logistics capacity, integrating advanced warehouse solutions with the flexibility required to accommodate a wide range of tenants and operations. Its scale and functionality reinforce Willawong’s position as a leading logistics hub in Brisbane’s south, offering both immediate operational value and long-term growth potential. Steel Builder’s role spanned the full structural steel delivery, from engineering through to erection, ensuring the project was completed to program and to the highest standards of safety and quality. The Stockland Willawong Distribution Centre highlights Steel Builder’s ability to execute fast-tracked, high-volume industrial developments, supporting Australia’s expanding logistics and supply chain infrastructure.
