Constructed by Tomkins for Australia Post, this 700-tonne steel facility commenced in July 2024 and was successfully completed in December 2024, delivering a high-performance hub in just six months. Designed with efficiency and sustainability at its core, the facility has achieved a 5-star Green Star rating, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmentally responsible construction and operations. Its innovative design includes direct airside access, allowing for streamlined logistics and faster parcel movement from air transport directly into processing. Advanced automation technologies form the backbone of this facility, significantly improving parcel handling and processing efficiency. These systems enable Australia Post to meet the demands of millions of customers across Queensland, providing faster, more reliable delivery services while optimizing operational workflows.
