Position Overview

The QA Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance

of the Quality Management System (QMS) across all stages of fabrication and

installation. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role ensures quality control

measures are executed, inspection records are maintained, and non-conformance

issues are documented and tracked. The QA Coordinator acts as a key liaison between

the site/project teams, suppliers and the Quality Manager, ensuring timely

communication of quality matters and assisting with continuous improvement

initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate quality documentation

and records, including inspection and test reports (ITPs), non-conformance logs, and

audit checklists. They assist in preparing quality documentation for project submissions

and ensure that teams are always working with the latest controlled documents.


On-site, the role supports inspections by coordinating with Site Managers and

Supervisors to meet project hold points and verify compliance with specifications and

standards. They play an active role in supporting the implementation of quality control

plans and ITPs during project delivery.


The Quality Coordinator also monitors non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring they

are logged, tracked, and closed out promptly. They support investigations into quality

issues, assist with corrective actions, and follow up with responsible parties to ensure

compliance.


Communication and reporting form a core part of the role, acting as a link between the

site team and the Quality Manager. The Coordinator helps prepare reports and

dashboards, while also relaying identified quality issues to suppliers, subcontractors,

and fabricators for resolution.


Finally, the role contributes to training and continuous improvement by participating in

quality sessions, assisting with the rollout of new procedures, and identifying recurring

issues to help refine processes. Through this, they play an important part in supporting
